Hollywood 1942. When attorney Audra Schaeffer's sister disappears, Audra flies to Hollywood to find her but instead must identify her body. This probably rates 4.5 stars. The plot revolved around a sister who joined a victory caravan during WWII selling war bonds in order to try and find her sister's murderer. The suspense is good, and there are things you are not expecting, but some parts were slightly predictable to me. It is an enjoyable read, and the history of the... *Thanks to Summerside Press for sending me a copy through the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance.* The writing was good and so was the suspense. The romance was tastefully done. What kept rubbing me the wrong way was that in the 1940s "escort" was an honest-to-goodness real job for starlets and it wasn't the same thing as prostitution.
