yee-haw, it's Weird Western time!I had no idea that somewhere within me was a craving for unusual westerns featuring a man with a magic gun, a tough lass with a coat full of knives, and a cat traveling with them in a saddlebag. the duo (trio?) apparently ride about solving supernatural mysteries in the Old West; this particular mystery... I could read Roger's weird western tales all day long. Great fun. Another cool Ian Rogers novella. And oh so close to five stars. I loved the set up, loved the interplay between Dryden and Raisy, loved Dryden's gun.Rogers is a great writer, which is important to note, because, quite honestly, in the hands of a lesser writer, this book would have been a hot mess.
